MF2 Marcinkiewicz 7 diameter possibly wider

Here is a custom gold-plated Maynard Ferguson type mouthpiece,made by Marcinkiewicz. Comes with a #25 throat and custom cup design and Bach backbore.  There are no numbers on the mouthpiece, just his name and state.  Marcinkiewicz always put his model types on the backbores this was just the top. I wanted a Maynard style mouthpiece that was around the Bach 7 diameter as you see in the pictures.  It measures out to be in that family.  It's hard to measure a Ferguson MP because the rim melts into the cup.  Personally I think it feels wider than the 7 diameter but that's me!  It plays best for me with the Bach standard backbore.  However you can use any backbore that has Warburton type threads on it.  But keep in mind, Maynard played on a very unusual MP, so it may take some getting used to.  It gets a thunderous sound especially in the upper register.  I figure if you play on a 7 or larger diameter mouthpiece you probably would feel comfortable trying this mouthpiece.  It does not back up on me at all, even though its shallow, there is plenty of room to vibrate.  It's definitely different, again it is a custom mouthpiece but very cool indeed!  Try it you might like it, I did!   Thanks for watching, I will entertain offers.God Bless
