New OEM REMOTE START KIT FACTORY ENGINE STARTING LEXUS GX460 2010-2015

Description

Up for sale is a brand new engine remote start kit -  OEM but not boxed. Comes with wiring, etc all you need. NO cutting or splicing.
There are NO installation instructions with it but they are online in pdf.
YOU MUST HAVE THE PUSH BUTTON START BUTTON NOW ON YOUR DASH - ONLY! WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE THE SMART KEY FOB!!
OK here's the story. Lexus had an issue with the smart phone app so MOST dealers stopped selling this....numerous dealers we work with have all stopped selling it now for that reason. So this was a kit a dealer had on shelf they wanted to get rid of for this reason. It was never installed,
you will not be able to use your smart phone to start the vehicle is all.... but you can use it for your Smart Key FOB of course - works 100 percent fine for that only - just NOT with your smart phone!!
You can self install BUT a shop (not dealer) with "Techstream Notebook" or similar software has to set your software to recognize the kit. You can install it yourself but once installed, it has to be added to the car's body control complex with this OB2D software system -
CHECK your local shops FIRST please!
Most Lexus dealers will not install this for you, call them or local audio shop in your area to make sure first. Only shops with TechStream software can integrate this with your vehicle.
This remote start works with your existing 2 Smart Key Fobs only - not smart phone.
Fits: 2010-2015 GX460 ONLY models with Smart Key (push button start on dash).
