    Description

Nuwave Compact Portable Cpap Equipment Sanitizing Unit w/ Ozone Generator
    Brand New, Auth Dealer, Warranty
The NUWAVE® standard sanitizing unit comes with a small portable, storable bag with a patent-pending fitting. The small NUWAVE® sanitizer allows you to sanitize either your mask or water chamber at once (you will need to run separate cycles to sanitize mask and your water chamber). Once you have put your mask or water chamber inside the sanitizing chamber, then you simply connect your tubing to the generator and then to the patent-pending universal fitting on the sanitization chamber. Once you have completed these steps, you will simply press the button on the NUWAVE® ozone generator for two seconds and you will start the ozone sanitization process.
The sanitization process will last for 30 minutes, followed by a five minute flush of fresh air into the sanitization chamber. The included ozone filter will help convert the ozone back to active oxygen within two hours.
    Indications for Use
NUWAVE® is a germicide intended to disinfect noncritical medical devices and equipment surfaces including CPAP masks, tubing and water chambers.
    Automatically Kills 99.9% of Germs
NUWAVE® is an automatic CPAP sanitizing system. It kills 99.9% of germs such as E Coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
    Patent Pending Technology
Other units on the market using zipper bag chambers do not allow the user to close the sanitizing chamber and the result is ozone which leaks into the environment. NUWAVE® is designed with an advanced configuration of a special flange fitting and one of two sanitizing chambers which uses a zipper to open and fully close the unit so the ozone stays inside.
    Rechargable Lithium Ion Battery
NUWAVE® is provided with a long life 2,600 mah battery and can last as long as 8-9 sanitization cycles before needing a charge. Re-charging is simple. Just plug the unit into a wall outlet using the provided power cord and USB charger adapter.
How to Use Your NUWAVE®CPAP Sanitizer
    CHARGE THE BATTERY
Plug unit into a wall outlet using the supplied power cord and USB charger. The unit will charge until the green light turns off. A full charge may take up to 4 hours. When you see the green light is off, the unit is fully charged. You are ready to use the NUWAVE®.
    Connect Your CPAP
Connect your CPAP tube to the NUWAVE® sanitizing chamber. Then connect your tube to the NUWAVE® generator (see pages 3-7 of the instruction manual for details).
    LOAD YOUR EQUIPMENT
Load your CPAP mask, headgear and/or the humidification chamber and fully zip close the NUWAVE® sanitizing chamber (see page 4 of the enclosed instruction manual for details).
    Start Cleaning
Press and hold the “On” button for 2 seconds then release to start cleaning cycle. You should see the blue light illuminate for the next 35 minutes. Leave the CPAP equipment in the sanitizing chamber for the next 2 hours and remove. You are ready to use your sanitized CPAP equipment.
    IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CHARGING:
If you attempt to charge the unit and you see the green light momentarily flash and then turn off, your unit is fully charged and you DO NOT NEED TO CHARGE THE UNIT. You are ready to use the NUWAVE.
    OZONE NOTE:
If you smell any residual ozone on your mask, connect your CPAP tubing and mask assembly to your CPAP machine and run your unit for 30 seconds. This will flush any residual ozone out of your tubing and mask. If you sense that you are sensitive to ozone, discontinue use.
    DO NOT USE VINEGAR:
to wash your CPAP mask if you are using ozone sanitization for CPAP equipment. Ozone CPAP sanitizers have been known to react with vinegar to produce a foul odor on CPAP masks. Use a mild detergent and water if you wash your CPAP mask.
