Note the two grey cables are for an external speaker. These terminals need to be insulated so they can't short out and damage the radio PA stage, even if no speaker is attached

Please note that Airmail packets can often take up to
2 weeks
to reach USA despite what Royal Mail delivery estimates say, I believe this is due to security checks as it enters the country, I believe the Tracked service is slightly better than standard in that respect.
